Family Fun
We offer a Feast for all the family...
Celebrate the first night of winter with a spectacular lantern parade that promises to be one of our highlights this year.
Organised by the Big Art Factory, the parade will wend its way through the town marking the traditional festival of Nos Calan Gaeaf.
In years gone by this was the Welsh Celtic festival of gathering in the harvest when families would get together and preserve foods for the long winter months.
It was also a time of feasting and celebration before the long dark days.
Lantern-making sessions will be open to all on Saturday in Conwy Civic Hall and there will be a week-long programme of movement and dance workshops before the Feast.
Set 5.30pm on Saturday (October 27) in your diary for the spectacular parade

A word of advice for families with very young children: the Feast is a busy festival and the marquees can get quite full. For the comfort of small children, we encourage parents not to take buggies into the marquees.
